Binh Dinh improves digital skills for nearly 7,000 officials and civil servants

DNVN - Nearly 7,000 cadres, civil servants and public employees of Binh Dinh province have completed a digital transformation training course, contributing to building a team of "digital transformation agents" to meet modern management requirements to better serve people and businesses.

On June 24, at Quy Nhon University, the closing ceremony of the training course to improve qualifications in digital transformation and digital skills for officials, civil servants and public employees of Binh Dinh province in 2025.

The training course was organized by the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province in coordination with Quy Nhon University, taking place from June 11 to 24, to effectively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on developing information technology human resources and the national digital transformation program.

The course was organized for 6,984 trainees who are officials, civil servants, and public employees of departments, branches, and localities across the province, focusing on two key areas:education and health. In addition, the program was also expanded to include many trainees in an online format to widely spread digital transformation knowledge throughout the public sector.

Training content includes: basic knowledge of digital transformation and digital skills, information security in the digital environment, application of artificial intelligence (AI) in state management activities, skills in using digital platforms in work management, etc. The lessons are designed to interweave theory and practice, helping students to apply immediately to practical work.

In his closing speech, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, highly appreciated the serious learning spirit and open-mindedness of the cadres, civil servants and public employees participating in the course. At the same time, he emphasized that digital transformation is not simply the application of technology but the process of changing thinking, management methods and providing public services, contributing to building an effective administration, better serving people and businesses.

“After the course, each cadre, civil servant and public employee must become a 'digital transformation agent', someone who spreads the spirit of innovation and creativity, applying technology to daily work,” emphasized the Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee.

The final evaluation results show that the majority of students met the requirements and completed the training content well. This is an important foundation for Binh Dinh province to continue implementing digital capacity building programs for its staff, while contributing to promoting the synchronous digital transformation process from the grassroots level to the entire province.

The Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee also requested departments, branches, sectors and localities to continue to concretize the course results with practical action plans, increase the application of technology, AI and data in operational activities, thereby improving the efficiency of serving people and businesses, and improving the province's digital transformation index in the coming time.
