Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of a number of functional agencies of the Corps, the Board of Directors of Military Hospital 15 and more than 60 medical and information technology officers and staff throughout the entire Corps 15.

Overview of the training class.

The training course focuses on equipping staff with the necessary knowledge and skills in exploiting and using electronic health record software; at the same time, raising awareness of the role and significance of digital transformation in military medical work. The training focuses on two main topics: Instructions on exploiting, using and creating an initial database of electronic health record software for soldiers; thoroughly understanding management regulations, technical infrastructure conditions and steps to standardize and clean up initial data at units. According to the plan, Army Corps 15 will complete the standardization of over 1,345 military health records in September 2025, and at the same time synchronously deploy electronic medical records at Military Hospital 15 before September 15, 2025, earlier than the target assigned by the Government .

Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Pham Xuan An, Director of Military Hospital 15 (Army Corps 15) said: In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the strong trend of digital transformation, the application of electronic health record software for soldiers is a concrete step to realize the resolutions of the Politburo and the Central Military Commission on developing science and technology, innovation, and building a modern Army.

In particular, the implementation of the Electronic Health Record System at Military Hospital 15 is of great significance in managing and monitoring soldiers' health in a comprehensive, scientific and long-term manner. The system will help digitize, centrally manage and synchronize medical data, effectively supporting medical examination, treatment, emergency, statistics and in-depth analysis. Thereby, not only improving the quality of care and protecting soldiers' health, but also creating favorable conditions for Military Hospital 15 to gradually modernize the management process, meeting requirements in all situations.
