Binh Lieu: Training on national defense and security knowledge for outstanding individuals and prestigious people in the community

On October 22, the National Defense and SecurityEducation Council of Binh Lieu district organized a conference to foster national defense and security knowledge for outstanding individuals and prestigious people in the community in 2024.

At the conference, delegates were informed of a number of contents: Prevention and combat of the strategy of "peaceful evolution" and violent overthrow of hostile forces against Vietnam; the Party's viewpoints and the Vietnamese State's legal policies on ethnicity and religion associated with national defense and security in the new situation; some main contents on local national defense and security tasks; prevention and combat of law violations in cyberspace; some issues on combining socio -economic development with strengthening and consolidating national defense and security and people's diplomacy in the new situation; the work of building strong villages and hamlets to meet the requirements of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new situation.

Through the conference, it creates conditions for delegates of prestigious ethnic minorities in the district to grasp the Party's policies, the State's laws, local tasks, and the situation related to national security and defense in the area. At the same time, there are opportunities to meet, exchange and share experiences in propaganda and mobilization work for ethnic minorities in the area; strengthen the great solidarity of ethnic groups, ensure security, order and social safety in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Binh Lieu district.

Currently, in Binh Lieu district, there are 86 prestigious people. Over the years, they have always been the core force, an important bridge between the Party Committee, the government and the people in propaganda work, mobilizing people to raise vigilance, resolutely fight and prevent crimes to ensure security and order in the area; promote their role in propaganda work, mobilizing people in ensuring national defense and security; promote democratic regulations among the people, ensuring security and order in the area.
