Previously, in September 2024, the Binh Thuan Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection coordinated with the Plant Protection Department to organize online inspections of growing areas and export control centers for fresh coconuts to China according to the announcement of the General Administration of Customs of China. All growing areas and control centers for coconuts exported to China must be registered with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; approved by both the General Administration of Customs of China and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. All registered gardens for export to China must establish a quality management and traceability system, and apply the principles of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), apply an integrated pest management program (IPM), and implement a management program to monitor growing areas for plant quarantine species of interest to China.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Binh Thuan, up to now, the whole province has 674 growing area codes and 283 operating CSĐGs for plants such as dragon fruit, durian, grapefruit, etc.
