Comrade Le Van Han - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee worked with the Party Committee of Cang Long commune on preparations for the organization of the Commune Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Prepare documents and personnel

One of the key tasks in the preparation for the congress is to draft documents. In particular, the political report submitted to the congress received special attention from the Standing Committee of the Cang Long Commune Party Committee. Following the instructions of the higher-level Party Committee, the Commune Party Committee established a Document Editing Team, mobilizing key cadres who are experienced comrades to participate. The documents were drafted based on the spirit of promoting democracy, collective intelligence, and correctly assessing the current situation of socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building, and the political system in the past term.

Comrade Tran Thi Bich Phuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Cang Long commune said: The political report focuses on deeply, honestly, objectively and comprehensively assessing the situation and results of implementing the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term, especially the key and breakthrough tasks in the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system, fighting against corruption, waste and negativity; socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security.

Point out the advantages, disadvantages, causes, especially subjective causes, draw profound lessons in leadership, direction and implementation. At the same time, clearly define the direction, goals, tasks and solutions for the next term that are close to the actual situation of the commune, the context, new requirements and are scientific and highly feasible.

To build quality congress documents, especially the political report, the Standing Committee of the Cang Long Commune Party Committee chaired a meeting with the Executive Committee of the Cang Long Town Party Committee, Nhi Long Phu Commune and My Cam Commune (old) to contribute opinions, then complete and supplement them, and transfer them to the new commune to receive and collect opinions from the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Executive Committee of the Cang Long Commune Party Committee. Through many revisions and supplements, the documents have become increasingly complete, fully reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of the people, while clearly demonstrating the development vision of the commune Party Committee in the new term.

Along with the drafting of documents, special attention was paid to the preparation of personnel for the congress. Accordingly, the Provincial Party Standing Committee decided to appoint personnel for the Executive Committee consisting of 33 comrades, the Standing Committee of 11 comrades, and the Inspection Committee of 5 comrades. These are comrades who are exemplary in political qualities, intelligence, moral qualities, lifestyle, capacity, and prestige; are the center of solidarity, have steadfast political qualities, have vision, innovative thinking, and are closely attached to the people; have leadership capacity, and meet the requirements of tasks in the new development stage to successfully implement the resolution of the Commune Party Congress in the next term.

Faith and expectation

These days, the atmosphere of preparing for the Cang Long Commune Party Congress has spread throughout hamlets, villages, and residential areas. The subordinate Party cells have been organizing congresses and electing Party cell committees for the new term. The content of the Party cell congresses focuses on evaluating the results of implementing the resolutions of the previous term, and at the same time discussing and developing targets and solutions for the next term. Through the Party cell congresses, many profound and frank opinions, especially the remaining problems at the grassroots level, have been absorbed and added to the draft documents of the Commune Party Congress.

Propaganda work has received special attention from the Commune Party Committee, information and propaganda activities about the congress have been deployed in a diverse and rich manner. The propaganda content focuses on outstanding achievements in the 2020-2025 term, the spirit of innovation, and determination to build Cang Long commune to develop more and more. Thereby, creating an exciting atmosphere, encouraging cadres, party members and people to enthusiastically compete in labor, production, and achievements to welcome the congress.

The Party Congress at all levels for the 2025-2030 term is a broad political activity. The cadres, party members and people of Cang Long commune believe and expect that the congress will open an important turning point in innovation, the Party Committee and the political system will be strong enough to organize and implement well the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and best serve public services for the people in the commune.

Cang Long Commune Party Committee was established under Decision No. 6160-QD/TU, dated June 26, 2025 of Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee, with 44 affiliated Party organizations and 1,336 Party members. At the same time, assessing and forecasting favorable and difficult situations, trends and impacts as a basis for deciding on viewpoints, goals, tasks and key solutions on Party building, building the political system, socio-economic development, social order and safety, and local defense and military in the period of 2025-2030; Contribute to the draft documents of the 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party. With the motto "Solidarity, democracy, discipline, breakthrough, development", the 1st Congress of Cang Long Commune Party Committee demonstrates high political aspirations and determination, striving to develop Cang Long Commune with a new look - Cang Long Ward.
