In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Nguyen Viet Hung, a 12th grader majoring in English at Chu Van An High School for the Gifted (Hanoi), scored 10 points in Math and Physics, 9.75 points in English, and 9.25 points in Literature. With this excellent result, the male student became the national valedictorian in four groups: A01, D01, C01, and D11, and also led the exam with a total score of 39/40 points in four subjects. Viet Hung plans to apply for admission to the Computer Science major at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Nguyen Duy Phong, a student at Chuong My A High School ( Hanoi ), is one of eight valedictorians of block A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry) with a perfect score of 30/30. Previously, Phong was also the valedictorian of the Hanoi National University's aptitude test, with a score of 130/150. The male student also scored 90.54/100 in the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's thinking assessment, ranking 4th out of nearly 19,000 candidates in the same batch. Duy Phong plans to enroll in Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
With perfect scores of 10 in all three subjects: Math, Physics, and Chemistry, Nguyen Dieu Linh, a student at Nguyen Trai High School, Hung Yen, became one of the eight valedictorians of block A00. The female student plans to enroll in the Economics major at Foreign Trade University.
Tran Duc Tai, a student at Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School, Ho Chi Minh City, became the only valedictorian of block B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology) nationwide with a perfect score of 30. With the dream of becoming a doctor, the male student plans to apply for admission to the Faculty of Medicine at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Nguyen Tran Yen Nhi, a student at Cua Lo High School (Nghe An), scored 9.75 points in Literature, 10 points in History and Geography, becoming the only national valedictorian in block C00 (Literature, History, Geography). The female student plans to apply for admission to the Literature Pedagogy major at Hanoi National University of Education.
Tran Huu Thinh, a student at Hung Nhan High School (Hung Yen) achieved a perfect score of 30/30, entering the national golden list of valedictorians of block A00 in the 2025 high school graduation exam. Nguyen Quang Minh, a student in the specialized Math class 2 at Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted (Bac Ninh), is also the valedictorian of block A00 with a perfect score of 30/30. The male student plans to apply for admission to the Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence majors at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Nguyen Thai An, a student at Kim Son A High School in Ninh Binh, achieved perfect scores of 10 in all three subjects: Math, Physics, and Chemistry, becoming the national valedictorian of block A00. With her score, the female student plans to apply to Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
Nguyen Le Hien Mai, 12th grade Chemistry major, Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted (Phu Tho) - one of the 8 national valedictorians of block A00 with a total absolute score of 30/30. Currently, Hien Mai has not decided to use the A00 combination to apply for a specific major. The Phu Tho female student is in the process of researching and carefully considering to choose the most suitable wish for her interests and future orientation.
