In an interview with Elle US, Lisa shares about her new solo project, her own management company, and her debut role in The White Lotus. The Thai-born idol is proving her strong position in Kpop.
The singer born in 1997 said she is not good at expressing her emotions, but recently she has become more confident in thinking and speaking out loud.
Her songs often boast about her lavish lifestyle, but Lisa said she is easy-going and humorous. On her rare days off, she spends time "plowing" House of the Dragon , online shopping in bed with seaweed snacks, relaxing in pajamas and oversized hoodies.

Lisa's own management company, Lloud Co., is a play on the two "L"s in her real name. "I learned to speak up for myself about what I like and what I don't like. I think that's the most important thing," Lisa shared.
Fan of BlackPink worried about the members separating to pursue solo careers and fearing that BlackPink would disband. Lisa reassured: "Of course we will continue, for sure. We are proud and love BlackPink. Not only for the fans, but also for ourselves. This is our life."
All four members renewed their contracts for future activities as a group. In July, YG founder Yang Hyun Suk teased the group's tour in 2025.
In addition to her singing career, Lisa tried her hand at acting. She took on her first role in the third season of The White Lotus , HBO's acclaimed social satire directed by Mike White, is set in Thailand.
Filmed in Bangkok and the islands of Phuket and Koh Samui, the project was a chance for Lisa to “come home and eat Thai food every day.”
“Mike White? I thought he was a genius,” Lisa said, recalling the moment she got the part. “I think I cried. I was with my friends, my mom, but I didn’t tell them I had auditioned. I was excited and nervous, because it was my first acting project. I was a little excited and then I thought, ‘Oh, wait, how am I going to do this?’”

The 27-year-old singer said she took acting classes to regain her confidence. Lisa described filming as refreshing, unlike her previous music videos. “I feel like people will love Thailand even more,” the singer said, excited for fans to see the film.
The perk that comes with taking control of her own career for Lloud is that she will now fully own the recordings she releases — a basic privilege that even stars like Taylor Swift have struggled to obtain.
“I don't think anyone can have that easily. It feels like a dream. I'm not sure if it's real or not.”
Lisa praised Taylor Swift after watching her senior's three-and-a-half-hour concert. "She was amazing! Singing alone on stage for three and a half hours was crazy... Maybe I can do it with more practice" - Lisa said.
