BlackPink

Founded by YG Entertainment in 2016, the girl group BlackPink consists of 4 members: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa. Blackpink officially debuted with their debut album Square One, which included two songs, Boombayah and Whistle . Both songs later entered Billboard's World Digital Songs chart and Korea's Gaon digital music chart.

The girls all have standard body and extremely pretty appearance, the group name is BlackPink (black pink) which means both pretty but also very individual and talented.

The group set a record for being nominated and winning on music shows the fastest. After only 13 days of debut, BlackPink won the number 1 position on the program Inkigayo. AKB48

Is a Japanese girl group founded by Akimoto Yasushi in 2005, described as a social phenomenon. AKB48 currently holds the Guinness World Record for "Pop group with the largest number of members" with 200 members.

They are also one of the highest-grossing groups in the world, with record sales of over US$211 million in 2011 and US$226 million in 2012 in Japan.

As of 2018, AKB48 is the best-selling girl group in Japan with 56 million records sold, according to Oricon. Their best-selling single is Teacher, Teacher, which sold over 3 million copies in 2018, according to Billboard/Soundscan.

In 2010, the songs Beginner and Heavy Rotation ranked first and second respectively on the list of best-selling singles in Japan of the year; while in 2011, the group's five singles occupied the top five spots on the annual Oricon Singles Chart.

As of April 2019, the group has sold over 60 million records, including 6 million album copies. According to Oricon's chart, AKB48 holds the record for the most singles sold in Japan by a girl group, and AKB48 is the 5th best-selling girl group worldwide.

EXID

South Korean girl group formed in 2012 with 5 members: Solji, LE, Hani, Hyelin and Jeonghwa.

The group officially debuted with a 6-member lineup including Dami, Yuji, LE, Hani, Haeryeong and Jeonghwa on February 16, 2012 with their first digital single Holla .

Two months later, Dami, Yuji, and Haeryung left the group and were replaced by Solji and Hyerin. As a five-member group, the group released their debut EP Hippity Hop in August 2012.

EXID Group

EXID began to gain popularity when member Hani's fancam (a video made by fans) became widely known, leading to the single Up&Down (2014) unexpectedly rising to number one on the Gaon single chart after 4 months of release.

Sistar

The 4-member Korean girl group, managed by Starship Entertainment, is built as a group of strong and individualistic girls.

The group's first MV was Push Push , followed by Shady Girl . When the group first released their songs, they immediately attracted a lot of attention from the media.

The group was originally formed with 5 members and released their first song Good Person in the movie Cinderella Man .

Two months later, two members left the group and around the same time, three new members joined the group, officially operating with 6 members.

The group's hit songs were Roly-Poly and Lovey-Dovey , which helped T-ara earn millions of dollars in revenue. The group has been around for a long time, so they are known to many international friends. Their fans have been through ups and downs with them over the years.

In 2012, T-ara came to Hanoi to perform at the K-pop Festival. In the following years, the group returned to participate in tourism promotion programs as well as concerts in Vietnam.   Currently, T-ara has 4 members including Qri, Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon working as a solo group.

Girls' Generation

Girls' Generation is certainly not unfamiliar to many people. This is a famous girl group in Korea, founded in 2007 with 9 members, managed by SM Entertainment - the most powerful entertainment company in Korea.

When Girls' Generation's songs were released, they immediately attracted many young people around the world with their catchy and cute melodies.

SING

SING is a Chinese girl group, also known as SING Girls, Super Impassoned Net Generation or Starry Girls Group. The group debuted under the name KuGou Music in August 2015.

The group SING often incorporates traditional Chinese instruments into their songs, as well as wearing traditional Chinese costumes.

The group currently consists of eight members: Qin Yu, Wu Yao, Xu Shiyin, Bian Li, Chen Li, Lin Hui, Jiang Shen, and Lai Meiyun. Three members Cai Sha, Lin Jinyi, and Gong Tianying have left the group for various reasons.
