The first BMW M3 Competition xDrive 2024 "marries" Da Nang

The first BMW M3 Competition xDrive 2024 in Vietnam has just been delivered to its owner in Da Nang, right after completing import procedures and emission testing.

The 2024 BMW M3 is the mid-life facelift (LCi) version of the G80 generation that was first launched in 2020. Compared to its predecessor, the 2024 M3 has many significant changes in design, equipment and entertainment system, similar to its coupe brother M4.

The car has a new headlight cluster which is the most recognizable feature, with a design of 2 vertical arrow-shaped LED daytime running lights and turn signals, replacing the previous arc-shaped design. This is a characteristic detail on new generation BMW models, bringing a sharper and more individual appearance.

In addition, users can optionally choose adaptive LED headlights with integrated Matrix Beam high beams with blue accents inside, similar to the high-end M Performance versions.

The first car to arrive in Vietnam has a Brooklyn Gray exterior combined with a black leather interior, accented with contrasting yellow stitching in many locations in the cabin.

The car is equipped with multi-spoke alloy wheels with sizes of 18 inches at the front and 19 inches at the rear. This Competition version has larger wheels with sizes of 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear.

Step inside the 2024 BMW M3 and you'll find a new 3-spoke sports steering wheel with a beveled bottom. This M steering wheel is wrapped in leather with improved spokes and a red 12 o'clock indicator. There are also 2 M buttons on the steering wheel to select the driving mode and adjust the curved rear display.

The curved display of the 2024 BMW M3 includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch central touchscreen, connected to the iDrive system based on BMW Operating System 8.5. The way to adjust the climate control system on this screen has become simpler for ease of use.

Similar to the new 3-Series, the 2024 BMW M3 also has new ambient lighting in the area surrounding the central air vents. This light can change 9 colors and customize the brightness to suit the user's preferences.

The 2024 BMW M3 Competition xDrive will use a 3.0L, twin-turbocharged, inline-6 ​​gasoline engine, producing a maximum capacity of 523 horsepower and maximum torque of 650 Nm.

Compared to the old version, this engine is 20 horsepower stronger. Thanks to that, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 250 km/h when equipped with the optional M Driver's Package.

The engine of the BMW M3 Competition xDrive 2024 continues to be combined with the 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission and the same 4-wheel drive system. In addition, there is an Active M Differential lock on the rear axle. In the Vietnamese market, the genuine price of the BMW M3 Competition xDrive 2024 starts from 5 billion VND, excluding personalization costs.
