(QNgTV)- The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued a document warning about criminal tricks that take advantage of cyberspace to lure and entice students.

According to information from the Criminal Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ), recently, in some provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City... there have been consecutive cases of subjects impersonating the police force, the prosecutor's office, the court, calling to threaten and manipulate students' psychology, saying they are involved in a case under investigation, then asking their families to transfer ransom money with a trick called "online kidnapping".

From the above situation, the Ministry of Education and Training Require units to organize discussions and share topics on trends and risks in cyberspace; equip skills for safe network use, identification and handling of situations when detecting signs of fraud.

The content includes warnings about methods of property appropriation and sexual abuse via phone, internet, and social networks such as: quick loans via applications, virtual currency exchanges, multi-level marketing, online games, lottery, gambling, football betting, investment - love - winning fraud, appropriation of social network accounts, etc.
