Minister of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) Do Duc Duy signed and issued Decision No. 4389/QD-BTNMT approving the 2025 Inspection Plan of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment .
According to the Decision, in 2025, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will conduct two specialized inspection teams including: Inspection of compliance with laws on land, environmental protection, minerals, water resources, surveying and mapping, seas and islands in Quang Tri and inspection of compliance with laws on land, environmental protection, minerals, water resources, surveying and mapping in Hau Giang .
In addition, the Ministry Inspectorate will monitor, urge and inspect the implementation of inspection conclusions; conduct surprise inspections and re-inspections; supervise inspection teams and provide professional guidance on inspection, training and guidance on inspection and examination work in 2025.
The Department of Planning and Land Resources Development will conduct inspections of compliance with land laws on: the preparation and implementation of provincial and district-level land use plans; compensation, support and resettlement when the State reclaims land; land use rights auctions; land allocation, land lease, and change of land use purposes; land management and use for projects that do not put land into use or are behind schedule in land use in the provinces of Thua Thien Hue, Ca Mau, and Tien Giang .
The Vietnam Minerals Department will monitor, urge and inspect the implementation of inspection conclusions conducted by the General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam in the provinces of Quang Ninh, Khanh Hoa, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An and conduct surprise inspections.
The Minister assigned the Chief Inspector of the Ministry to preside over the implementation of the plan, based on the actual implementation situation and requirements of State management work, to propose adjustments to the 2025 Inspection Plan, and report to the Minister for consideration and decision.
