Arrange headquarters and facilities to serve the operations of the new local government model

(QNgTV) - The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 315 directing the implementation of the arrangement of headquarters and facilities to serve the operation of the new local government model and the management, use and exploitation of surplus headquarters after the arrangement of administrative units.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province requested agencies, units, and localities to arrange, allocate, and handle headquarters and facilities serving the operations of agencies, organizations, and units according to the 2-level local government model, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted operations. Handle surplus assets in accordance with regulations, avoiding loss and waste of assets. Do not sell offices and public service facilities without arranging them in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets, Decree 186 dated July 1, 2025 of the Government.

In case after arranging and harmonizing assets between agencies, organizations and units, there is still a lack of assets or existing assets do not meet the requirements for performing tasks, make additional purchases according to standards and norms issued by competent authorities; repair and renovate old facilities to ensure facilities for performing tasks. Develop a plan to handle headquarters and surplus assets after the arrangement of administrative units at your agency, unit or locality, and send it to the Department of Finance before July 19, 2025 for synthesis.
