Minister of Public Security attends the plaque-mounting ceremony of the new headquarters of Hue City Police

General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security attended and performed the plaque-mounting ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Public Security , the City Party Committee, the People's Committee, the People's Council and departments and branches of Hue City. During the ceremony, delegates laid flowers at the Uncle Ho Memorial Hall and planted souvenir trees in front of the lobby.

The new office building of Hue City Police was built on an area of nearly 160,000m² with a total investment of 799 billion VND. After 16 months of construction, phase I was completed, including: main office building, conference hall, traditional house, citizen reception area, investigation agency, barracks, kitchen, armory, helicopter landing pad and auxiliary infrastructure. The project is expected to be put into use in 2026.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hue City leaders affirmed that they will continue to pay attention and requested the Ministry of Public Security to create favorable conditions to allocate funds to complete the remaining items. The city also requested that the project must be managed, operated properly, and regularly maintained.
