Minister To Lam attends the parade rehearsal to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Mobile Police Force's tradition day.

On the morning of April 7, in Hanoi, General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, inspected and directed the parade rehearsal to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Mobile Police Force's Traditional Day (April 15, 1974 - April 15, 2024) and received the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces for the second time from the Mobile Police Command.

At the rehearsal, Minister To Lam, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long and delegates witnessed the report on the results of the training, team review, vehicle parade and martial arts performance.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Minister To Lam acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility, efforts and determination of the forces over the past 2 months, making efforts to practice in unfavorable weather conditions, especially the female soldiers who overcame difficulties in accommodation and living conditions, promoting a high sense of responsibility to achieve important results today.

There is only one week left from now until the anniversary, requiring the forces participating in serving the ceremony to concentrate with the highest sense of responsibility and effort. Minister To Lam requested the officers and soldiers serving the anniversary to clearly identify this as an important political event to demonstrate the force, report to the Party, State and people about the continuous growth and maturity of the People's Public Security force in general and the Mobile Police in particular.

"This is not only a task but also an honor and pride for comrades to participate in serving the celebration; each individual must enhance their sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties, and successfully complete the assigned political tasks with the highest quality," the Minister emphasized.

The Minister requested that officers and soldiers participating in the parade, marching, and martial arts performances at the celebration should promote the highest sense of responsibility in training and discipline at the training ground; concentrate highly, actively practice and master individual techniques according to the tasks of each group; when performing the parade, marching tasks must be even, beautiful, and unified, demonstrating the majesty and bravery of the armed forces.

After each training session, joint training, and rehearsal, the units must promptly draw lessons to perform better; have measures to train and practice separately for individuals and units that are still weak; motivate and encourage officers and soldiers to enthusiastically practice to serve the ceremony with the best results. This training session is also a good condition for officers and soldiers to continue to improve and effectively serve the parade, contributing to the success of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory, and training to prepare for the events of 2025.

The Minister requested the Mobile Police Command to coordinate with units to ensure the best conditions for food, accommodation, living, and health care for officers and soldiers participating in the parade. Ensure absolute safety for officers and soldiers during the march, moving from the military base to the ceremony location and vice versa...

For the Public Security of units and localities assigned tasks by the Ministry according to the Plan, members of the Steering Committee of the Ministry of Public Security, Minister To Lam requested that they closely follow and seriously, effectively and promptly implement the assigned tasks; unite, coordinate and cooperate closely with the Mobile Police Command to ensure the best and most complete conditions from facilities, weapons, equipment, vehicles, uniforms... so that the celebration takes place solemnly and solemnly.

On this occasion, Minister To Lam and Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long presented gifts to encourage the units participating in the training for the celebration. Minister To Lam also directly went down to the ranks, visited, encouraged, instructed, and assigned tasks to the Mobile Police at the units on the training ground, showing the Minister's affection, responsibility, and special attention to a heroic unit with a long tradition, achieving many outstanding feats, contributing to protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, for the peace and happiness of the people...

Towards the 50th anniversary of the Mobile Police Force's tradition, since 2023, the Mobile Police Command has proactively advised the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to issue plans and deploy more than 20 commemorative activities from the Command to the Mobile Police of local Public Security. Up to now, the commemorative activities have basically been completed as planned.

The 50th anniversary of the Traditional Day and the second reception of the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces will take place on April 14. The Mobile Police Command has mobilized more than 4,000 officers and soldiers to participate in the parade, marching, and martial arts performances.

In particular, there are 9 blocks with more than 1,000 officers and soldiers who, after the ceremony, will perform the task of parading and marching at the State level on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory. This is an important political event, an opportunity to report to the Party and the State on the growth and development of the People's Public Security force; a preparation step to welcome the country's major events in 2025, such as the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; 50 years of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; 80 years of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force...
