Coast Guard Region 3 Command promptly rescues fishermen in distress at sea

(ABO) On June 19, the Coast Guard Region 3 Command said that while on duty at sea, ship CSB 8021 of Squadron 32, Coast Guard Region 3 Command received and promptly rescued the crew of fishing boat KG 90991 TS that was in distress at sea.

Previously, at 12:20 p.m. on June 19, CSB 8021 received information that fishing vessel KG 90991 TS, captained by Phan Van O, had crew member Nguyen Vu Nguyen (born in 1998, address in Soc Son, Hon Dat, Kien Giang ) had a work accident due to a winch winding the machine, the soft tissue wound on the left arm was deeply torn and complicated.

Immediately, officers, soldiers, and medical staff of CSB 8021 ship, CSB Region 3 Command urgently brought the injured crew member onto the ship to perform first aid, wash the wound, sew 20 stitches, and bandage the wound. After surgery, the patient was conscious, the medical team warmed him up, gave him medicine and milk to drink.

At 1:40 p.m. the same day, after the victim's health condition stabilized and the wound was stopped bleeding, CSB 8021 ship handed over crew member Nguyen Vu Nguyen to KG 90991 TS ship to bring him ashore for further monitoring and treatment.
