The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just sent a document to agencies and units requesting the temporary suspension of entertainment and tourism activities during the flood warning period.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires inspection, review and development of plans to protect cultural, sports and tourism institutions and facilities managed by the unit. Temporarily suspend entertainment and tourism activities during flood warning periods; closely coordinate with localities to deploy flood response plans, prepare available forces, means and materials to move important artifacts and documents to safe places; organize to overcome consequences and support localities when requested.
Previously, Quang Ninh province temporarily suspended a number of cultural and sports activities such as: VnExpress Marathon Ha Long 2024 postponed the competition date from September 8 to September 22; KUN Marathon scheduled to take place on September 6 and 7 will also be postponed to the morning of September 21; The 2024 Tea Street Flower Festival and the final round of the Hai Ha District Voice Competition scheduled to be held on September 14 and 15 will be postponed to October 2024. The Department of Culture and Sports has also issued a document requesting the temporary suspension of sports activities in the province.
