The training course is for officials and civil servants in charge of information and propaganda of provincial departments, agencies, unions, the Department of Culture and Information of districts and cities, and commune-level cultural and social officials with more than 170 students. This is also the 7th class in the training and development plan to improve the quality of tourism human resources organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2024.

The training course content, instructed by lecturers from Can Tho College of Tourism and reporters from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, includes: Overview of communication, tourism promotion, communication activities, tourism promotion in Ben Tre , instructions on installing and using the smart tourism application bentretourism.vn, introduction to communication trends, tourism promotion in the current period, public relations and implementation of marketing communication, basic communication and tourism promotion tools...

Students also practice working with tools and share experiences in the field of multi-channel communication.

* On December 23, 2024, the Department of Information and Communications of Ben Tre province coordinated with the Center for Software Technology of Can Tho University to organize a training conference to foster in-depth knowledge on digital transformation for leaders and officers specializing in information technology and digital transformation from departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts and cities in the province.

This training conference focuses on two main contents: Investment management of information technology projects (including guidance on investment management laws, project implementation processes, and management of information technology service rental costs) and information system security assurance work by level (including training on building information security level proposal documents and appraisal processes).

Training and fostering in-depth knowledge of digital transformation is considered a key activity in Ben Tre's digital transformation training plan in 2024, aiming to improve the capacity to implement and advise on digital transformation in state agencies, contributing to improving skills, creating synchronization in implementing digital transformation projects, while ensuring information security, contributing to promoting the sustainable development of the digital economy of Ben Tre province.
