Training on recognizing fake news and skills in exploiting information on social networks

During the 2 days (October 26-27, 2023), the trainees will be instructed on fake news and distorted news by Journalist Vu The Cuong - Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, part-time lecturer of the Center for Journalism Training of the Vietnam Journalists Association and lecturer Luong Dong Son - Faculty of Radio and Television, Academy of Journalism and Propaganda.

Journalist Vu The Cuong - Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, part-time lecturer of the Center for Journalism Training of the Vietnam Journalists Association, directly introduced how to recognize fake news and distorted news.

How to review news sources, check authors, check information, illustrations and links; how to handle fake news; act responsibly on cyberspace as well as the consequences of providing and sharing fake news and distorted news; skills to exploit information on social networks. Skills to use some AI tools in creatively producing journalistic products.

Through the training course, it is hoped that with the knowledge provided, members, reporters, and journalists will know and understand the signs and how to identify fake news, how to avoid "fake news traps", how to handle if they accidentally post or share fake news, distorted news, and skills to exploit information on social networks.
