
Passengers buy tickets online on the website https://dsvn.vn of Vietnam Railways. After completing the booking and payment, passengers will receive an electronic receipt. Passengers need to arrive at the train station about 1 hour before the train departure time, present a passport with visa and the receipt to complete the ticket collection procedure.
Currently, the railway industry is continuing to work with China Railway to expand online ticket sales for passengers purchasing international train tickets passing through Nanning station to the following stations: Guilin North, Hengyang, Changsha, Zhengzhou, Beijing West (China).
According to Vietnam Railway Corporation , statistics on international train passengers show that Vietnamese passengers account for 20%, Chinese passengers account for 75%, and other countries account for 5%.
