Opening the way for sustainable development for Vietnamese tea

On December 6, within the framework of the 2025 International Tea Festival, the Tea Summit program took place in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong province), gathering domestic and international experts, cultural researchers, and tea industry managers.

The Organizing Committee of the 2025 International Tea Festival organized discussion sessions, providing multi-dimensional perspectives from culture, economics to in-depth research, contributing to shaping the development strategy of the Vietnamese tea industry in the coming time.

Tea discussion within the framework of the 2025 International Tea Festival

Discussions focused on regenerative agriculture , ancient tea forest management, sustainable farming, green finance and green economic opportunities. Speakers shared successful models from other countries and forecasted the future of tea agriculture in the context of climate change.

In addition, Vietnamese and Japanese experts had a discussion to explore aspects related to the health effects of tea, emphasizing how the longevity and health of Japanese people are related to tea drinking habits.

Sharing from many fields of research, art, agriculture and culture is expected to create a comprehensive picture of the heritage journey and future of Vietnamese tea. This is one of the important activities of the International Tea Festival 2025, opening a new approach for the sustainable development of the tea industry in the context of globalization.
