As part of the annual theme "Once Upon a Time" of VYMI - Vietnam Youth Music Institute, VYO Grand Concert 2025 is a combination of classic and modern works, full of storytelling. Young artists will use their music to tell the audience a story about a small village that always echoes with music, and the journey of a curious girl, promising a classical music night with a breath of adventure and fairy tales.

The program includes major works: Mozart's Symphony No. 31 “Paris”, a brilliant excerpt from Bizet's Carmen Suite No. 1, as well as works by Holst, Telemann, Charlie Barber.
More specifically, for the first time, VYO introduces the new work “curious, curious, oh Curious!” by Alexander Oon (Composed/Arranged) based on the story of author Phuong Vu. The work adds a fresh perspective of Vietnam in the classical music space, hoping to create an interesting highlight in the program.

VYO Grand Concert is an annual concert of the Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYO), which brings together more than 70 members from 12 to 22 years old, led by the Vietnam Young Music Institute (VYMI).
Since 2022, the program has become a special mark of the VYO journey, once a year, the stage lights up with melodies prepared for four seasons.
Before returning to the Grand Concert 2025, VYO had an impressive 2024: welcoming the Japanese Prodigy Orchestra to perform in Vietnam in the concert The Great Wave and having an exchange and performance journey in Japan.
In 2025, VYO continues to step up the ladder of maturity when having the opportunity to be directly instructed in practice and performance by 9 artists from the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO), a valuable milestone that adds energy, confidence and creative inspiration to VYO Grand Concert 2025.
