Faced with the losses and difficulties that people in flood-affected areas had to endure during the severe storm season of 2025, the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Unesco Travel Club (HUTC) called on businesses to participate in emergency support.

With the spirit of “helping each other”, the club’s call quickly received enthusiastic and strong response. As of 4 p.m. on December 3, the closing date for donations, HUTC had received a total of VND 201,105,000 from 152 contributions from member businesses and domestic and foreign benefactors.

This contribution not only has material value but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, demonstrating the solidarity and sharing of the capital's travel business community with the central region. HUTC also affirms its role as a bridge of humanity, a place where golden hearts always turn towards the community.

HUTC's leadership has urgently worked, closely coordinating with the local Fatherland Front Committee to review and make a list of the most severely damaged households. A working group representing the Hanoi Unesco Travel Club was directly present at the scene to carry out the fund-giving work. The group was led by Mr. Tran Minh Duc - Vice President of the Central Highlands - Central Region Club and Mr. Nguyen Huu Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Membership Management and Development Board.

In Nha Trang city, the delegation visited two hotspots that suffered heavy damage, namely Bac Nha Trang Ward and Hoa Thang Ward. Here, 200 gifts, each worth 1,000,000 VND in cash, were handed out to 200 households (100 households in each ward).

The total amount of money donated directly to the people is 200 million VND. The remaining amount of 1,105,000 VND was also transferred directly by the delegation to the Fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to continue serving other social security work.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Cuong shared at the presentation ceremony: “Although the value of each gift is not too great compared to the losses that people have to bear, it is the heart and precious sentiments of the tourism workers in Hanoi and the whole country. We hope that this sharing will give more motivation for people to soon stabilize their lives and rebuild their houses after the flood.”

Many people in Bac Nha Trang Ward and Hoa Thang expressed their gratitude for receiving this timely support. For them, the presence of HUTC volunteer group not only brought material but also the warmth of compatriot love in the most difficult days.
