Khanh Hoa: Announcement of second natural disaster emergency situation

On December 6, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had issued a decision to declare a natural disaster emergency to repair damage to traffic infrastructure.

Specifically, the natural disaster from November 16 to 22 caused landslides and especially serious damage to the traffic system on National Highway 27C; Provincial Roads 702 and 706; Provincial Road 657 (Pham Van Dong Street); Nguyen Tat Thanh Street; Provincial Road 653C (Country Road 39); Provincial Road 656 (Provincial Road 9) and To Hap - Son Binh route.

These routes are located in the areas of North Nha Trang, North Cam Ranh, Dien Lam, East Khanh Son, South Khanh Vinh, Vinh Hai, Ninh Hai and Cong Hai.

The announcement of an emergency situation is intended to create a basis for the Department of Construction to review the extent of damage and issue orders for emergency construction to help overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Previously, at the end of November, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also announced a natural disaster emergency to handle damage on National Highway 27C, National Highway 27, Provincial Road 9, Provincial Roads 701, 703, 707 and Ngoc Thao Bridge.
