On December 6, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had just issued a decision to declare an emergency situation (phase 2) to repair damage to traffic infrastructure on 8 key routes due to the impact of recent floods.

Specifically, 8 damaged roads must continue to be urgently repaired, including National Highway 27C (Khanh Le Pass) and Provincial Roads 702, 706, 657 (Pham Van Dong Road), 653C (Rural Road 39), 656 (Provincial Road 9 to Khanh Son Pass), To Hap - Son Binh Road...

According to the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province, continuous heavy rains since the end of November 2025 have caused serious damage to the above-mentioned roads.

Some sections of National Highway 27C and Provincial Road 9 suffered heavy landslides, posing a danger to people and vehicles passing by.

Previously, from November 16 to 22, many places in Khanh Hoa province received 80 - 250mm of rain, Cam Ranh and Cam Phuoc Dong alone recorded 458.6 - 487.5mm of rain. Water levels on Cai Nha Trang River, Dinh Ninh Hoa River and Cai Phan Rang River all exceeded alert level 3.

Rising floods caused more landslides, washed away roadbeds and slopes in mountainous areas in mountainous communes in Khanh Son, Bac Ai Tay, etc. and flooded thousands of houses in the province.

Mr. Le Huyen - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - said that the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to urgently review, assess the extent of damage and deploy urgent solutions. The Department of Finance was asked to arrange funding, and the People's Committees of communes and wards must coordinate to confirm the amount of damage and support the construction.
