Art program "Con Dao: Sparkling legend - Bright future"

On the evening of December 6, at An Son Mieu Relic Site - Con Dao, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City organized the art program "Con Dao: Sparkling legend - Bright future".

This is one of the main activities of the 240th Phi Yen Commemoration Festival - Con Dao 2025. The program is organized by Tran Huu Trang Opera House in coordination with the Con Dao Special Zone Cultural Department.

Through the language of Cai Luong theater, the program will recreate images, anecdotes and profound human values ​​associated with the legend of Phi Yen's life. Each song, melody, and performance is a reminder of the spirit of loyalty, righteousness, and kindness, the noble qualities that make up the character of Vietnamese women.

This is not only an artistic activity, but also a cultural and spiritual event, with traditional educational significance, contributing to arousing national pride, strengthening love for the homeland and encouraging the younger generation to continue and preserve the heritage values ​​left by their ancestors. In addition, the program also aims to preserve and promote traditional theatrical art, while promoting the image of Con Dao, a sacred land, full of humanity, to friends and tourists at home and abroad.

The art program is staged into 3 chapters, including: Con Son song, Where the legend begins, Singing about Con Dao today, performing in turn the following acts: medley of Con Son song lyrics, scene of Con Dao - Witness of history, scene song of Injustice, Whole life of loyalty, Where the legend begins, traditional songs - amateur songs By the ancient temple, medley of modern songs Singing about Con Dao today, Forever echoing the sacred island song.
