The event was co-organized by the Vietnam Film Promotion and Development Association (VFDA) and AVSE Global, under the auspices of the Vietnamese Embassy in France.
The opening ceremony became a prominent gathering point for artists from both countries, with the participation of famous faces: Producer Kieu Thi Thanh Thuy, director Dang Thai Huyen (film Red Rain) ; producer Tran Thi Bich Ngoc; actors Kaity Nguyen, Hieu Nguyen, Bao Dinh (film Death Battle in the Sky ); actress Le Tu Oanh (film Rain on Butterfly Wings ); Meritorious Artist Le Vi; cello artist Dinh Hoai Xuan; musician Quoc Trung; Diva Hong Nhung; directors Stephan Ly Cuong, Nguyen Huu Muoi..., and many international guests.

Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang assessed that this is a "special cultural and artistic mark", contributing to bringing the image of Vietnam to the French public.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, President of VFDA, emphasized the special significance of the program taking place at the right time when Vietnam celebrates the 50th anniversary of national reunification and the 80th anniversary of National Day, which also coincides with the month of commemorating the 130th anniversary of the birth of world cinema by the Lumière brothers.

The opening ceremony opened with an emotional "cinematic- musical symphony" with melodies from Endless Fields and The Legend of Quan Tien . The performance of Sous le Ciel de Paris by artist Dinh Hoai Xuan and the Paris Symphony Orchestra and the performance of La vie en rose by Diva Hong Nhung made the Grand Rex auditorium explode with emotion many times.

The highlight of the program was the premiere of the action film Deadly Air Battle , inspired by the 1978 hijacking incident. The French audience expressed surprise at the technical quality and acting. Appearing on the red carpet, Kaity Nguyen emotionally shared her pride when a Vietnamese film was shown at the largest cinema in Europe.
The week will last until December 12 with 17 typical films being screened, photo exhibitions, artist exchanges and a Vietnam-France cinema cooperation seminar, expecting to welcome about 5,000 visitors.
