Depart at dawn
At Hai Duong station and Hai Phong station, train HP15/HP16 is the earliest train departing on weekdays from Monday to Friday.
Serving the first train of the day is also a new and quite special experience for the service staff on this pair of trains HP15/HP16. To serve the train departing at 6:20, the staff must be present at the station from 5:00 am to prepare.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Minh in Thanh Dong Ward (Hai Phong) is the train captain. According to the schedule, on the days he is the captain of the HP15/HP16 train, Mr. Minh has to wake up earlier than usual to get to the train station on time to be ready for duty.
"Before, when there was no train from Hai Duong station to Hai Phong station, other trains had later departure times. Since joining this train service, we have gradually gotten used to it and adapted. This is a special train trip and also very fun," Minh shared.
Currently, there are 11 people serving each train journey, including train captain, staff, electrician, inspector (carriage technician)... In the morning, service staff are present early to hold a meeting to deploy passenger service work, check the readiness of passenger service equipment, materials, production tools, and sanitation on the train.

In the afternoon, around 3pm every day, the service staff cleans the outside of the train cars after a journey west - east Hai Phong and pumps water into the train's storage area to serve passengers, cleaning the inside of the train. After that, the tractor moves the train cars onto the rails, ready for the return journey at 5:30pm from Hai Phong station.
The train arrived at Hai Duong station, the train staff cleaned up, took care of books and papers, and then left work at around 7:30 p.m. Along with the cadres, civil servants, employees, workers, and people who are working hard every day to travel west and east to Hai Phong, the railway staff also left early and returned late, accompanying the cadres and people after the merger.
For safe trips for officials and people

Ms. Pham Thi Nguyet is one of the familiar flight attendants on train HP15/HP16. Serving the train from the very first days, Ms. Nguyet found the train to be a special experience.
"Speaking of special things, this train has a lot. The passengers are mainly civil servants and public employees who travel every day, so the service staff are familiar with each other and become close friends when they travel together every day to work. The passengers who are civil servants and public employees also share, encourage, maintain hygiene, and have a civilized manner when traveling by train," said Ms. Nguyet.
Whether early morning or late at night, on the sometimes smooth or sometimes bumpy railway tracks, Ms. Nguyet and the flight attendants and service staff still bring bottles of water, towels, and hot meals on the train to the officials and people.

Currently, each HP15/HP16 train serves over 400 passengers. To have a stable and safe means of transport for officials and people traveling from Hai Duong station to Hai Phong station as it is today is the result of dedication and great efforts in building, improving, maintaining and serving the train by many people.
In which, there is the attention, support and strong direction of Hai Phong city leaders with the concern for a long-term means of transportation for officials and people to travel and work in the new Hai Phong city after the merger of Hai Duong and Hai Phong.
The railway industry has also constantly improved and adjusted schedules to best serve, suitably and optimally for officials and people. Railway employees like Mr. Minh and Ms. Nguyet have also contributed significantly to the success of the train, to have safe and enjoyable journeys every day for officials, civil servants, employees, workers and people of Hai Phong.
