On the morning of December 5, the Hai Phong City Department of Health held a ceremony to send off a working group to provide medical support, medical examination and treatment, and free medicine in Dak Lak province to overcome the consequences caused by rain and floods.

The working group consisted of 25 officers and doctors led by Mr. Tran Quoc Trinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Health. The members of the group were mainly young, enthusiastic doctors and medical staff with high professional qualifications from Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital, Hai Duong General Hospital, Hai Duong Rehabilitation Hospital, and the Center for Disease Control.

The working group will organize medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for about 300 people. The group will give out family medicine bags and gifts; give 40 gifts worth 1 million VND in cash to disadvantaged families in the locality; and give 100 million VND to the medical facility where the group organizes medical examinations.

Speaking at the program, Director of Hai Phong Department of Health Le Minh Quang praised the spirit of readiness and enthusiasm of the city's young medical team. He requested the members of the delegation to always promote the spirit of solidarity, daring to think, daring to do, and resilience of Hai Phong people to excellently complete the assigned tasks, helping people in flood-hit areas ensure health and overcome difficulties in life. At the same time, join hands to support and reduce pressure on the Dak Lak health sector in the task of caring for and protecting people's health.

Previously, the Hai Phong Department of Health supported Dak Lak province with 300 units of flood prevention medicine (34 categories), 2,500 kg of 25% Cloramin B chemicals, 400,000 Aquatab water disinfectant tablets with a total value of more than 1.2 billion VND from the support of units in the industry.
