The relationship between Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya) is increasingly close. Their love story and many action scenes prove that Paul is forced to grow up, take on the responsibility of an heir, leading the Atreides family in the war with other powerful families to gain control of the rarest fuel in the universe, the spice, thereby holding on to power.
The relationship between Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya) is growing stronger.
Through the trailer, the audience also has a glimpse of the scheming King Shaddam IV (Christopher Walken) or the cruel villain Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen (Austin Butler)...
Most notable in the trailer are the stunning war scenes, focusing more on Paul's fight on the galaxy's most dangerous planet, Arrakis, against the Harkonnen clan.
Another highlight is Paul's internal struggle and his awareness of his new position - especially considering his age, Paul is still just a young man. Timothée Chalamet has many emotional scenes with diverse inner acting, very different from the character he played in the first part. Like Chani said: "As long as you don't lose yourself, you will always have me", the film signals important turning points and changes for Paul Atreides.
