Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates received the target of winning the 33rd SEA Games.

"In 2025, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will participate in many important tournaments. The special goal is the SEA Games. After many years of winning silver medals, this is the first time the Vietnamese women's volleyball team strives for a gold medal. Personally, I and the athletes feel pressured to the point of insomnia, but together we try to create motivation in each training session," said head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team at the sponsor launch event on the morning of May 6 in Hanoi .

Winning the 33rd SEA Games gold medal is also the target that the Department of Physical Training and Sports assigned to the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.

"That is a difficult goal, when we attend the SEA Games in Thailand and have to compete fiercely with the host," said Mr. Le Tri Truong, Chairman of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

In 2025, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will participate in the Volleyball World Cup in Thailand (August 22 - September 7), AVC Challenge Cup (June 8 - June 15), VTV Cup (June 28 - July 5) and SEA Games 33 (December 7 - December 19).

Previously, since April, Coach Tuan Kiet and his team have been training in Quang Ninh and will return to Hanoi in June to compete in the AVC Nations Cup.
