Multiple sources confirmed to People that while traveling from Cabo San Lucas (Mexico) to Los Angeles (USA) with her security team, singer Britney Spears (43 years old) drank alcohol and smoked throughout the flight, violating federal aviation regulations.

This move made the flight attendants on the plane worried, they insisted on asking the owner of the song Toxic to put out the cigarette, and she did.

Britney Spears was under her father's conservatorship for 13 years due to mental health concerns following a series of incidents in the early 2000s. Her father, Jamie, is also the guardian of his daughter's assets.

The female singer successfully filed a petition with the court to terminate her guardianship in November 2021.

Spears later released the memoir The Woman in Me , which recounted her childhood, her relationship with Justin Timberlake, dancing with a snake at the 2001 MTV VMAs, and other stories about life in the spotlight.

Ahead of the book's release, the singer spoke exclusively to People magazine about leaving the conservatorship that closely monitored her life from 2008 to 2021. "For those 15 years, even early in my career, I had the opportunity to sit back when people were talking about me and tell my own story," she said.

Britney Spears added: "After being released from conservatorship, I am finally free to tell my story without any consequences from those responsible for my life."
