Attending the meeting, on behalf of BSR , there were Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, General Director; Mr. Khuong Le Thanh - Standing Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Member of the Board of Directors; Mr. Pham Minh Nghia - Deputy General Director; and representatives of the leaders of the Company's Departments and functional departments. On the side of the press agencies, there were the presence of many reporters, editors, and journalists from many central and local press agencies in the Central region.
Speaking at the program, BSR Chairman Bui Ngoc Duong respectfully thanked the reporters, editors, journalists, and press managers who have always accompanied BSR in information and communication work and spread the positive values of the enterprise to the public. It is this companionship that has created an effective connection channel between BSR and society.
The program is not only a sincere gratitude from the business, but also an opportunity to strengthen the connection, sharing and understanding between BSR and the press and media. In the context of the volatile economy , BSR hopes to continue to receive the companionship and support of the press to promptly reflect the production and business situation, bring the voice of businesses to state management agencies, contribute to removing barriers and promoting development.
Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong also shared that in the coming time, BSR will face many difficulties and challenges, from oil price fluctuations, global energy transition trends, carbon emission reduction requirements, to increasing competitive pressure. In that journey, the press continues to be an indispensable companion, helping businesses to move forward with honest, objective and socially responsible sharing.
Over 16 years of operation, BSR has processed over 100 million tons of crude oil, producing over 100 million tons of various petroleum products. Dung Quat Oil Refinery has always operated safely and stably, with an average capacity of 105%, sometimes reaching 116% of the design capacity. That achievement not only affirms the solid internal capacity of the enterprise but also contributes practically to ensuring national energy security - the noble mission that BSR always steadfastly pursues.
In the field of communication, BSR highly appreciates the role of the press as an effective and vivid channel to reflect production and business activities, technical innovation initiatives, scientific research, digital transformation, environmental protection, and care for workers' lives... Each article and report contributes to bringing BSR's image closer to the public, investors and the social community, while spreading the positive values of Vietnamese enterprises.
On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Phu Duc - Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of Quang Ngai Newspaper, representing the press agencies, also expressed his sincere thanks to the BSR Board of Directors for always being open, cooperative and transparent in providing information. The results that BSR has achieved in more than a decade and a half are not only the pride of the oil and gas industry, but also a source of inspiration for the press to continue to accompany and write beautiful stories about a Vietnamese enterprise developing for the country, for the people and for a sustainable green future.
Previously, BSR also held a meeting to express gratitude to leaders of press agencies, reporters, journalists, and editors in Hanoi, who have always accompanied and supported BSR in all production and business activities.
