Ca Mau participates in the national walking activity "Moving forward with Vietnam"

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), National Day September 2 and People's Public Security Tradition Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), on the morning of August 16, Ca Mau province, together with other provinces and cities across the country, participated in the national walking activity "Moving Forward with Vietnam" organized by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with Nhan Dan Newspaper by relaying from the central bridge in Hanoi to Tran Hung Dao Square, Tan Thanh Ward, Ca Mau province. At the bridge in Ca Mau province, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai attended.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai (in red hat, leading) and other forces participated in a 3km walk in response to the national walking activity "Moving forward with Vietnam".

The national walking event “Moving Forward with Vietnam” is a large-scale community event with profound political and social significance, taking place in the context of the country entering a new development stage with the rearrangement of administrative units. The activity received the simultaneous participation of 34 provinces and cities with 3,321 communes, wards and administrative special zones nationwide.

At the Ca Mau province bridge, there were more than 5,000 cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, union members, youth,... in the province participating in the response.

Broadcast live from the Central bridge, at Tran Hung Dao Street Square, Tan Thanh Ward, Ca Mau Province, provincial leaders and participating forces turned to the historic Ba Dinh Square to watch the national flag raising ceremony, sang the National Anthem in unison, then walked 3km to respond to the national walking activity "Moving Forward with Vietnam".

Responding to the national walking activity “Moving forward with Vietnam”, Ca Mau contributes to the localities across the country to join hands for one goal: For a united, strong Vietnam, ready to step into a new era - the era of national aspirations, of the spirit of moving forward for a powerful future. In addition, each step recorded through the digital platform of the activity will become a “green step” - a small but meaningful action, contributing to reducing carbon emissions, raising awareness of environmental protection and moving towards the national Net Zero goal.

A large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, union members, youth, etc. in the province participated in the national walking activity "Moving Forward with Vietnam".

With the message “1 billion steps into the new era”, “Moving forward with Vietnam” is not only a sports activity responding to the campaign “All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho” and the movement “Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland”, but also a journey connecting millions of hearts, converging all generations and classes of people from urban to rural, mountainous, remote and isolated areas, together towards the goal of building a united, strong and sustainable Vietnam.
