Sharing with Thanh Nien Newspaper reporters, a representative of the Vietnam Aviation Academy said that the number of candidates registering to enter the school has increased sharply. Therefore, the standard score is also expected to increase in some majors.
Specifically, this year, Vietnam Aviation Academy recorded 21,394 candidates registering for admission to the school, with 37,727 wishes. This number increased sharply compared to last year, with 11,471 candidates registering 15,817 wishes.
Therefore, school representatives predict that the benchmark scores for many majors may increase by 4-6 points due to the increase in the number of candidates and registration wishes. In particular, the benchmark score for considering high school graduation exam scores is expected to be the lowest at 19 points (last year the lowest was 16 points, an increase of about 3 points). Notably, the major with the highest benchmark score is expected to be up to 27 points.
However, the school representative said that this forecast information is only based on the current situation, the official benchmark score may change after 6 virtual filtering rounds for nationwide admission.
The majors with many candidates registering this year include: aviation trade, marketing, aviation engineering, flight operations management, airport management and exploitation, logistics, aviation economics ...
In 2025, Vietnam Aviation Academy will enroll 4,625 students, including 13 majors. Specific admission methods include: considering high school graduation exam scores, considering the results of the 12th grade transcript, considering the results of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City and National University of Hanoi competency assessment exams, considering international SAT/ACT/IB certificates, and direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The minimum scores according to the admission methods are as follows: 2025 high school graduation exam scores for all majors from 15-20 points; considering academic records from 18-23.88 points; considering the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment test scores from 520-697.5; considering the Hanoi National University's capacity assessment test scores from 70-87.5; considering SAT certificates from 990 to 1,215 points; considering ATC certificates from 18-25; considering IB certificates from 25-31.75.
Last year, the benchmark score of Vietnam Aviation Academy was from 16 to 26, the highest being the flight operations management major and the English program. The four majors with the lowest benchmark score of 16 points were: construction engineering technology, electronic and telecommunication engineering technology, and control and automation engineering technology.
