Leveraging the local strengths in ecological agriculture, Phuoc Long commune continues to expand and improve the efficiency of the shrimp-rice farming model, high-tech aquaculture, and organic production, linked with brand building and product traceability. It strengthens the transfer of science and technology, innovates production methods, and promotes production linkages along the value chain. Production is reorganized towards a concentrated, large-scale, and sustainable approach to increase added value per unit of cultivated area. Food production reached 110,000 tons, and aquatic product production reached 9,700 tons.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Thuc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc Long commune, said that the locality has been focusing on directing and urging the progress of public investment projects in the area, ensuring progress, quality, and effective use of capital. Priority has been given to allocating resources to key projects. Although the provincial public investment capital allocation is only a few tens of billions of dong compared to the actual conditions in the locality, the capital needs are still very large, but it has made a positive contribution to serving the lives of the people in the past.

Phuoc Long also strengthened its budget management, combating revenue losses and tax arrears. It implemented economical and efficient spending, allocating a reasonable percentage to development investment. At the same time, it ensured transparency in finance and budget management, increased the application of information technology in financial management, and achieved an annual budget revenue increase of 5-8%.

Regarding the development of the private economy, the Phuoc Long commune Party Committee creates the most favorable environment for the private economy to develop and become an important driving force of the local economy. The commune's policy is: the local government will handle difficult tasks, while easier tasks will be left to businesses.

"With the above objectives in mind, we support businesses, cooperatives, and individual producers in accessing preferential capital, applying science and technology, and digital transformation in production and business activities. We strive to develop 177 new businesses by 2030, have at least 40 individual producers transform into businesses, and achieve a cashless transaction rate of over 80%," Mr. Nguyen Tan Thuc emphasized.

Regarding education and training, we will continuously improve the overall quality of education at all levels. We will increase investment in infrastructure and teaching equipment, ensuring that 100% of schools have access to clean water and standard-compliant toilets. We will ensure that teaching and learning conditions meet the needs of the reformed general education curriculum.

Regarding public health care, the focus is on strengthening and improving the quality of operations at commune health stations, ensuring the provision of adequate primary healthcare services to the people. The goal is to ensure 100% of households have access to standard healthcare services, and the percentage of people participating in health insurance compared to the population is approximately 98% by 2030.

Regarding employment and social security, Phuoc Long fully and promptly implements social security policies, preferential treatment for meritorious individuals, social assistance, and continues to reduce poverty sustainably, striving to reduce the poverty rate by 1-1.5% annually.

To effectively address the above issues, Phuoc Long commune is promoting administrative reform, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management. It is effectively implementing the contents of the new phase of administrative reform, focusing on reforming administrative procedures, building e-government, and digital transformation at the commune level.
