Specifically, to calculate priority by high school area, candidates declare their 10th, 11th, and 12th grade years on the system, then the system automatically calculates the priority area.
Candidates also need to declare their time on the system to enjoy priority for students with permanent residence (during high school or intermediate school) of over 18 months in communes in region III and communes with extremely difficult villages in ethnic and mountainous areas according to regulations of the Minister, Chairman of the Ethnic Committee and the Prime Minister; extremely difficult communes in coastal and island areas; extremely difficult communes, border communes, and safe zone communes in the investment area of Program 135 (according to Decision No. 135/QD-TTg dated July 31, 1998 of the Prime Minister); extremely difficult villages and communes in areas according to regulations of the Prime Minister if studying at high school (or intermediate school) at a location in a district, town, or city under a province with at least one of the communes in an extremely difficult area.
Regarding priority subjects, there are 7 priority subjects that need to enter evidence into the system. Specifically as follows:
Subject 01: Vietnamese citizens who are ethnic minorities and have permanent residence during their time studying in High School or College for over 18 months in Region 1.
Subject 02: Direct production workers who have worked continuously for 5 years or more, of which at least 2 years have been emulation fighters recognized by provincial level or higher and awarded certificates of merit.
Subject 03: War invalids, sick soldiers, people with Certificates of entitlement to policies like war invalids; Military personnel; officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers on active duty in the People's Public Security who are sent to study and have served for 12 months or more in Region 1; Military personnel; officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers on active duty in the People's Public Security who are sent to study and have served for 18 months or more; Military personnel; officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers on active duty in the People's Public Security who have been discharged from the army and are recognized as having completed their military service obligations according to regulations.
Subject 04: Relatives of martyrs; Children of war invalids, sick soldiers, children of people who enjoy policies like war invalids with a reduced working capacity of 81% or more; Children of resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a reduced working capacity of 81% or more; Children of People's Armed Forces Heroes; children of Labor Heroes during the resistance period; Children of resistance fighters with deformities or disabilities due to the consequences of toxic chemicals who are receiving monthly allowances.
Subject 05: Youth volunteers who are sent to study; Soldiers; officers, non-commissioned officers, and conscripts in the People's Public Security on active duty who are sent to study with a service period of less than 12 months in Region 1 and less than 18 months in other regions; Commanders, Deputy Commanders of Military Commands of Communes, Wards, and Towns; Village Team Leaders, Platoon Leaders of Core Militia and Self-Defense Forces, Self-Defense Forces who have completed their service in the Core Militia and Self-Defense Forces for 12 months or more, taking the exam to enter the Basic Military Sector. The maximum period of priority is 18 months from the date of signing the demobilization decision to the date of registration for the exam.
Subject 06: Vietnamese citizens who are ethnic minorities with permanent residence outside the prescribed area of subject 01; Children of war invalids, sick soldiers, children of people who enjoy the same policies as war invalids with a labor capacity reduction of less than 81%; Children of resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a labor capacity reduction rate of less than 81%.
Subject 07: People with severe disabilities with a certificate of disability issued by a competent authority in accordance with the provisions of Joint Circular No. 01/2019/TTBLĐTBXH of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs regulating the determination of the level of disability by the Council for determining the level of disability; Excellent workers of all economic sectors from provincial level, ministerial level and above who are recognized as skilled workers, artisans, and are awarded certificates or badges of Creative Labor by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor or the Central Youth Union; Teachers who have taught for 3 years or more applying for teacher training majors; Nurses, pharmacists, nursing assistants, medical doctors, nurses, midwives, technicians, people with intermediate degrees in Pharmacy who have worked for 3 years or more applying for the right major in the health sector.
