After the Police Academy announced the 2024 university admission benchmark scores for method 3 (admission combining high school graduation exam scores with the 2024 Ministry of Public Security assessment test scores), some candidates had questions about admission based on secondary criteria.
Regarding this issue, the Police schools said that the 2024 Police recruitment guidelines issued by the Ministry of Public Security clearly stipulate that in the case of a number of candidates with the same admission score, if all are taken, they will exceed the allocated quota, then admission will be considered according to the following sub-criteria in order:
+ Firstly, consider candidates with the total score of 3 subjects in the admission group to the Police Academy (accounting for 40%) and the assessment test score of the Ministry of Public Security (accounting for 60%) rounded to 2 decimal places, taken from high to low until the quota is met.
+ Second, consider candidates with scores on the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test from highest to lowest until the quota is met;
+ Third, consider candidates with essay scores on the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test from high to low until the quota is met.
To know exactly about the admission score using additional criteria, candidates are requested to look up on the official information portal of the academies and police schools or contact directly the Training Management Department of the schools for answers.
For candidates who have passed the exam, please note that you must complete the online admission confirmation procedure on the Ministry of Education and Training 's Admissions Portal, no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27.
Previously, on the afternoon of August 20, the People's Public Security academies and schools announced the admission scores for 2024 according to method 3. In general, the admission scores for the People's Public Security schools this year increased compared to 2023. In particular, the highest admission score is 25.52 points, applied to female candidates in the North registering for the Party Building and State Administration major. The People's Public Security Political Academy uses the CA2 exam (multiple choice test of knowledge of Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Foreign Languages and Essay Literature) in the 2024 assessment exam of the Ministry of Public Security.
The admission scores for the Police Academy are calculated by combining the high school graduation exam scores and the Ministry of Public Security's competency assessment test. Of which, the competency assessment test accounts for 60% and the high school graduation exam scores account for 40%.
