Saudi Arabia issued a statement urging all parties to exercise maximum restraint, avoid escalation and prioritize efforts to reduce tensions. Riyadh also called on the international community to step up efforts to reach a political solution to end the current crisis and open the door to a new chapter of security and stability in the region.

Saudi Arabia's nuclear and radiation regulatory commission said it had detected no radioactive impact on the environment of the country and other Gulf states following US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Meanwhile, Oman said the US targeting of Iran threatened to “expand the war” and was a violation of international law. Oman has been mediating nuclear talks between Washington and Tehran.

In a statement posted on social network X, the Qatari Foreign Ministry condemned the dangerous escalation of tensions and warned of dire consequences at the regional and international levels following the US airstrikes targeting three Iranian nuclear facilities in the early morning of June 22.

In addition, Oman's statement stressed the right of states to pursue peaceful nuclear programs under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in compliance with established protocols.

The statement also stressed that targeting nuclear facilities—prohibited under the Geneva Convention due to the risk of serious radioactive contamination—further aggravates violations of global norms.

Iraq warned that US attacks on nuclear facilities in neighboring Iran threaten peace and stability in the Middle East.

Iraqi government spokesman Basim Alawadi said the country “expresses deep concern and strongly condemns the US targeting of nuclear facilities” in Iran.

“This military escalation poses a serious threat to peace and security in the Middle East and poses serious risks to regional stability,” Mr Alawadi added.

Qatar's Foreign Ministry also issued a statement saying it regretted the deterioration of the situation caused by the airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, while also warning that the escalation in the region could have catastrophic consequences on a regional and international scale.

The State of Qatar calls on all parties to exercise restraint and urgently return to diplomacy and negotiations to resolve the crisis.

According to a statement from the Lebanese Presidential Palace, President Joseph Aoun stressed that the people and leaders of the country have suffered many losses due to domestic and regional conflicts, so they do not want to continue paying the price.

He expressed concern that attacking Iran's nuclear facilities could escalate tensions, threatening the security and stability of many countries in the region.

The Lebanese President called on all parties to exercise restraint and initiate serious and constructive negotiations to restore peace and avoid further loss of life and property./.
