On May 23 (local time), Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro expressed his deepest condolences to the State, Government and people of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam after hearing the news of the passing of former President Tran Duc Luong.
On the afternoon of May 23 (local time), the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany solemnly held a memorial service and opened a condolence book in memory of former President Tran Duc Luong. Immediately after the memorial service began, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the ambassadors of Cambodia, the Philippines and Myanmar in Germany, representatives of the German-Vietnamese Association and many Vietnamese associations came to burn incense in memory of former President Tran Duc Luong and signed the condolence book.
On the morning of May 24, the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea solemnly held a memorial service and opened a condolence book in memory of former President Tran Duc Luong.
