Schools respond to the national flag hanging activity on the occasion of April 30

DNO - In a joyful and proud atmosphere, the whole city of Da Nang is eagerly looking forward to the important historical event: Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Joining in that jubilant atmosphere, schools in the city have simultaneously organized many meaningful activities, especially decorating school spaces with the brilliant red color of hundreds of national flags.

The red flag with yellow star is shining brightly in Son Tra High School.

Son Tra High School is one of the highlights of this movement. Right from the school gate, anyone can feel the solemn and meaningful atmosphere. Hundreds of red flags with yellow stars are hung along the rows of classrooms and the school yard, creating a brilliant and sacred space.

Mr. Le The Toan, Secretary of the Youth Union of Son Tra High School, shared: "We want to create a solemn and meaningful space to celebrate the country's great holiday. Hanging the national flag is a way to remind students of the nation's heroic history and patriotism. This is also an opportunity for them to better understand the value of peace , independence and freedom that we are enjoying today."

The flags are not only decorations, but also symbols of patriotism, national pride and solidarity. Mr. Dang Van Muoi, homeroom teacher of class 12/1, emotionally shared: "Seeing the red flags with yellow stars fluttering in the middle of the school yard, I feel extremely proud and grateful. This is an opportunity for us to remind the younger generation of the great sacrifices of our ancestors in the struggle for independence and national unification. We need to cherish what we have and constantly strive to build an increasingly prosperous country."

Not only teachers, but also students feel the sacredness and meaning of these holidays. Bui Hai An, a student of class 10/10, expressed: "I feel very proud to study in such an environment. These national flags remind us of our responsibility and patriotism. I hope that the young generation like us will continue the tradition of our ancestors and continue to write glorious pages of history for the nation."

The atmosphere of celebrating the 50th anniversary of liberation also spread strongly at Tran Phu High School. From the school gate to the corridors, everywhere was bright red with the national flag. Besides decorating the flag, the school also organized many cultural, artistic and sports activities to celebrate the great holiday.

Mr. Hoang Phuc, Secretary of the Youth Union of Tran Phu High School, shared: "We want to convey a strongeducational message to students through hanging the national flag. This is a way to arouse patriotism and national pride in each student. We also organize many other activities such as history, arts, and sports competitions so that students have the opportunity to show their talents and knowledge about the country."

These activities not only create a joyful and exciting atmosphere but also help students better understand the history, culture and traditions of the nation. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for them to practice skills, develop talents and strengthen the spirit of solidarity.

Ngo Quyen High School is also a bright spot in the movement to celebrate the 50th anniversary of liberation. The school is decorated with its inherent green color by hundreds of red flags flying, creating a space that is both solemn and youthful.

Ms. Trinh Thi Gam, Vice Principal of the school, shared: "The hanging of the national flag is not only a solemn ceremony but also a sacred symbol, arousing patriotism and national pride in each student.
