All preparations have been seriously implemented by localities in the province. By the afternoon of June 30, in Tien Trang commune, conditions regarding facilities, working equipment, information technology infrastructure, platforms, applications serving people, businesses and activities of agencies and units have been fully prepared.

The signs of the commune's specialized departments have just been installed, creating conditions for people and businesses to contact and work.

The facilities of the Public Administration Service Center are also ready to serve the people.

The administrative procedure listing board is placed in an easy-to-see location, convenient for people to look up.

In the mountainous commune of Phu Son, preparations for operating a two-level government have also been completed.

Facilities and communal cultural centers are fully prepared.

Up to this point, the work of handing over records and books of communes and wards has basically been completed.

Immediately after announcing the resolutions and decisions of the Central and the province on the arrangement of the apparatus and administrative units, the cadres of Tien Trang commune (new) organized an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs, vowing to strive to fulfill their tasks in the new period.

After the reorganization, Thanh Hoa province has 166 commune-level administrative units, including 147 communes and 19 wards, of which 126 communes and 19 wards were newly established after the merger and 21 communes did not undergo reorganization due to the characteristics of the area, population and border security.

From July 1, along with the whole country, communes and wards in the province officially operate a two-level government apparatus.
