Renovation of more than 28.4 hectares of household gardens and mixed gardens in Phuoc Cat

Cat Tien district has just approved investment in renovating more than 28.4 hectares of household gardens and mixed gardens in Phuoc Cat town to convert to growing fruit trees, coffee, and rubber with higher economic value.

Specifically, the conversion to growing 8 types of trees includes: Ri6 durian, Mongthong (over 13.1 hectares); rubber (nearly 11.5 hectares); mangosteen (1.6 hectares); jackfruit (0.8 hectares); rambutan (0.6 hectares); cocoa (0.4 hectares); coffee (0.3 hectares); mango (750 m2 ).

A total of 37 households in Phuoc Cat town received state budget support to renovate and convert household gardens and mixed gardens at a rate of 5 million VND/ha. Of which, the household that converted the largest area was 4.2 ha of rubber and durian trees; the household that converted the smallest area was 1,000 m2 of durian trees.
