Toto Vietnam Co., Ltd., Thang Long 3 Industrial Park (Binh Xuyen) is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, manufacturing sanitary equipment. The company currently has more than 500 employees, including more than 200 female employees.
To ensure occupational safety and health, the company provides workers with protective equipment and tools according to job requirements; enhances training in safety skills, prevents occupational diseases, and minimizes risks and occupational accidents for workers.
In work areas with health hazards, employees are equipped with dust masks, anti-toxic masks, safety belts, etc. The company invests in building a well-ventilated factory system, arranging production lines and equipment reasonably, assigning work in accordance with the health status of employees; allocating reasonable time and rest between shifts, providing nutritious meals to ensure the health of employees.
Annually, the company measures and monitors the environment at the workplace to assess risk factors and implement solutions to improve the quality of the working environment. All factory areas have fire prevention and fighting systems that meet the prescribed standards, are equipped with exhaust fans, ventilation fans, air conditioners, are sprayed with insecticide 3 times a year and are cleaned daily.
Chemical storage areas are arranged separately, ensuring safety standards according to regulations. Company employees are given periodic health check-ups twice a year. The company arranges 2 medical staff to regularly monitor health and perform first aid for employees when necessary.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quynh, Chairman of the Trade Union of Interflex Vina Co., Ltd. said: “In response to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2025 with the theme “Strengthening assessment, identifying hazards and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace”, the company has organized training on fire prevention and fighting skills, safety skills, prevention of occupational diseases, minimizing risks and dangerous accidents for employees.
Members of the Company's Safety, Hygiene - Health and Environment Committee regularly inspect the working environment to detect risk factors that affect the health of employees and propose solutions to the Company's Board of Directors to overcome the risk factors. Employees working in departments with risk factors are fully compensated in kind and are examined for occupational diseases periodically according to regulations.
Along with focusing on training to ensure occupational safety and health, improving working conditions for employees, the company's Trade Union promotes the development of cultural - artistic and sports movements to improve spiritual life, ensuring nutritious meals for employees.
Doctor CKII Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang, Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control, said: “In 2024, the Provincial Center for Disease Control conducted monitoring of the working environment at 206 enterprises and collected more than 43,000 samples to assess risk factors affecting the health of workers. When detecting that the working environment at some enterprises had factors of temperature, humidity, light, noise, toxic gases, radiation, etc. exceeding the permissible threshold, causing harm to the health of workers, the center requested that enterprises take measures to improve working conditions and ensure the health and safety of workers.
In 2025, the center will conduct labor environment monitoring at 150 enterprises. Through the work of supporting and monitoring occupational safety and health at enterprises, it shows that most enterprises have paid attention to implementing measures to improve working conditions, overcome risk factors affecting workers' health, and increase training and improve knowledge and skills on occupational safety and health for workers.
However, there are still some enterprises that have not done a good job in ensuring occupational safety and health, have not fully implemented regulations on establishing occupational environmental hygiene records, monitoring the working environment, conducting health examinations before assigning jobs, examining occupational diseases, and have not made occupational health reports as prescribed.
During the 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Action Month, the Department of Health, relevant agencies and localities will strengthen communication and dissemination of legal regulations to employees and business owners on ensuring the health and lives of employees, and promote businesses to focus on improving a green - clean - beautiful - safe working environment.
At the same time, strengthen coordination in implementing inspection and assessment of compliance with occupational safety and health laws at agencies, units and enterprises, especially enterprises operating in the fields of construction, mineral exploitation, mechanics, metallurgy, chemicals, etc. to detect hazardous factors and require business owners to have timely solutions.
