From April 21 to 26, the People's Committee of Cam Giang district organized 5 working sessions to disseminate information on land clearance and recovery to implement the Luong Dien - Ngoc Lien Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project to 794 families and individuals in Thu Lang, Bang Nghia, Ngoc Quyet, Binh Phien villages (Ngoc Lien commune) and An Lai village (Luong Dien commune).
This project has a total area of nearly 150 hectares, of which Luong Dien commune has 162 affected households with an area of 19.2 hectares; Ngoc Lien commune has 632 affected households with an area of 130.69 hectares.
At the working sessions, the District Compensation and Site Clearance Council disseminated to the people basic information about the project; regulations on compensation and support according to the 2013 Land Law, Government decrees, circulars of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment ; regulations on compensation and resettlement support when the State acquires land, unit prices of assets, trees, crops and livestock of the Provincial People's Committee when clearing land; the plan of the District People's Committee and the sequence of steps to carry out site clearance work...
Most households in the two communes agreed with the project. However, many households still had opinions and recommendations on land compensation prices; handling of distorted and difficult-to-cultivate land areas; support policies for villages whose land was recovered; determining the origin of the land, etc.
People requested authorities at all levels to complete the system of internal roads and irrigation ditches to facilitate production in the areas not yet recovered adjacent to the project.
The Cam Giang District Compensation and Site Clearance Council explained and clarified people's opinions on regulations on compensation and site clearance, and at the same time hoped that people would support the State's policy, provide documents to serve the review of land origin, and facilitate the inventory of agricultural land and assets on land.
Cam Giang District People's Committee requested the district's functional departments and commune People's Committees to continue to propagate and explain so that people understand and comply with the policy of land recovery to build industrial parks in accordance with the provisions of law.
