On the afternoon of July 21, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City inspected storm prevention work for cultural and sports institutions in Duong Kinh and Do Son wards.

On-site inspections at the Thuy Giang residential area cultural center in Duong Kinh ward and the Hai Son cultural center in Do Son ward revealed that the localities had proactively reinforced the infrastructure, secured the corrugated iron roofs and glass doors, and implemented plans to protect the cultural center's equipment.

The leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested that units and localities be on duty 24/7 during the storm's landfall, ready to respond to any emergency situations, ensuring absolute safety for people and property. They also instructed immediate implementation of plans to ensure the safety of equipment at cultural and sports facilities, amusement parks, and entertainment venues.

Previously, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism had requested that all units seriously implement measures to prevent and mitigate the effects of typhoon No. 3 at tourist sites, relics, and tourist areas, ensuring the safety of human lives and state property.
