Banning activities at Hai Phong river mouths and seaports to prevent storm No. 10

Hai Phong prohibits tourism and entertainment activities in sea and island areas; exploitation, aquaculture, fishing and other activities in estuaries, coastal areas and offshore.

The Hai Phong City Civil Defense Command has just announced the ban on some activities in river mouths and estuaries to prevent storm No. 10 (Bualoi).

Accordingly, from 5:00 p.m. on September 27, 2025, all tourist vessels and fishing boats are prohibited from going to sea. Tourism and entertainment activities in sea and island areas; exploitation, aquaculture, fishing and other activities in estuaries, coastal areas and offshore are prohibited.

The City Border Guard Command and the People's Committees of localities regularly notify and call on ships operating at sea; workers on aquaculture cages and watchtowers to take all measures to take shelter in safe places; and arrange to avoid collisions and sinking at anchorages.

Resolutely prevent and do not allow fishing boats and inland waterway vehicles that have entered safe shelters to operate during periods of strong winds and large waves. If necessary, apply coercive measures.

The City Border Guard Command directed units to call on boats to return to shelters and prepare plans to mobilize vehicles when requested.
