Officials and party members of Dong Da ward offer incense at Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue Monument

On July 11, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da ward solemnly held an incense offering ceremony at the Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue Monument at Dong Da mound, to commemorate the great contributions of the cloth-clothed hero and review the patriotic and indomitable tradition of the nation.

Attending the program were the Standing Committee of Dong Da Ward Party Committee and more than 200 cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees of the ward.

This is a practical program within the 2025 Party work training program of the Ward Party Committee.

After offering incense at the Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue Monument, party members and grassroots officials visited the Vietnam National Assembly Building; the historical relic site and cultural heritage of Thang Long Imperial Citadel...

Comrade Tran Xuan Tang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of the Front Work Committee No. 10 (old Thinh Quang Ward) shared: “I find the practical program very meaningful, Party members and cadres together review the heroic traditions of the nation, visit political , historical and cultural sites. And this is like a meeting of grassroots cadres of the new Dong Da Ward, to exchange, enhance mutual understanding and increase solidarity”.

Ms. Duong Thi Tuyet, head of residential group 14 (old Lang Ha ward) excitedly shared: “I have come here to offer incense many times and also visited the Vietnam National Assembly Building, but today is very special, because we get to visit with the leadership of the new ward. In front of the Quang Trung King Monument, we promise to do our best to build the ward to develop more and more”.

This is also the first practical activity of the Party Committee and Dong Da ward government after operating a two-level local government.
