Ho Chi Minh City National University has just issued Decision No. 894/QD-DHQG, allowing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) to pilot training inEducation Quality Management at the university level.
The Education Quality Management major (code 7140107), under the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences , is expected to start enrolling students from 2025 with an initial quota of about 50 students.
The Education Quality Management Department will apply 3 main admission methods:
+ Direct admission and priority admission: According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Ho Chi Minh City National University.
+ Consider the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University.
+ Considering high school graduation exam scores in 2025: With subject combinations: C03 (Literature - Math - History), D01 (Literature - Math - English), D14 (Literature - History - English) and D15 (Literature - Geography - English).
The training program in Education Quality Management is designed with a comprehensive orientation, harmoniously combining basic knowledge, professional skills and practical experience.
Students will be equipped with multidisciplinary knowledge such as education, management, psychology, information technology, along with data analysis skills and in-depth expertise in educational quality assurance and assessment.
The program focuses on developing critical thinking, soft skills, specialized foreign language skills, as well as leadership and project management skills in a digital environment. Students have the opportunity to participate in simulation projects for testing, analysis and quality improvement.
At the same time, learners gain practical experience through internships at educational institutions, businesses and accreditation organizations at home and abroad, helping to consolidate knowledge and accumulate valuable experience.
Upon graduation, students majoring in Educational Quality Management can take on many job positions at educational institutions, state management agencies, accreditation organizations and educational development consultants; potential roles include quality assurance specialists, examiners, data analysts, auditors or quality system administrators.
In addition to the field of education, students can also apply their knowledge to non-public organizations such as businesses, healthcare, and public administration in the role of quality management, process improvement, and strategic consulting according to international standards.
This field of study also opens up opportunities to continue pursuing higher education at home and abroad in related fields.
