The new generation Kawasaki Z400 2026 naked-bike line has just officially launched in its home country of Japan with new highlights that attract fans.

Kawasaki has just officially launched the 2026 Z400 model in its home market of Japan, continuing to maintain the characteristic strong "Sugomi" identity, while bringing new design highlights.

The most noticeable change is the prominent gold-painted frame, combined with sharper, more glossy decals and body graphics, creating a more premium and personal appearance than the previous generation.

In terms of design, the car is covered in an exclusive paint color "Metallic Graphene Steel Gray x Metallic Matte Black", creating a minimalist yet attractive overall look, harmoniously combined with a contrasting gold frame to enhance the premium look. The 2026 version will have only one color option and will be sold in Japan from November 1, 2025 with a starting price of 770,000 yen (about 135.7 million VND). This price includes tax.

The 2026 Z400 has overall dimensions of 1,990 mm long, 800 mm wide, 1,055 mm high; wheelbase of 1,370 mm; seat height of 785 mm and ground clearance of 145 mm. Details such as headlights, front fairing, side panels and rear of the vehicle are all redesigned in sync, giving a stronger, more modern feel.

The vehicle uses a single disc brake system of 310 mm in the front and 220 mm in the rear, comes with a 6-speed gearbox with direct transmission, a 14-liter fuel tank and fuel consumption according to WMTC standards of 25.7 km/liter.

The ultra-light trellis frame remains, offering great agility, while the suspension has been tuned for optimal handling both in the city and on winding roads. At just 166 kg, the Z400 is easy to handle in all situations, making it ideal for beginners or those looking for mobility.

The 2026 Z400 still uses a 398cc, DOHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, inline 2-cylinder engine that produces a maximum capacity of 48 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 37 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The vehicle is equipped with an anti-slip clutch, which helps limit wheel lockup when shifting gears suddenly, increasing stability and safety during operation.
