According to a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper on the morning of March 17, the construction site of Terminal T3, Tan Son Nhat International Airport is urgently carrying out the final stages to soon complete the project.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Long, Deputy Director of the Tan Son Nhat T3 Terminal Project Management Board, said that the terminal construction project is currently completing the final stages before the official inauguration on the occasion of April 30 this year.

The total construction volume of the project has reached about 98%. Of which, up to now, some stages of steel structure and roof structure have been 100% completed; the construction structure is 98% complete; the bridge and pipeline systems have been installed and are in the process of being deployed and put into operation. The plan from now until the end of March 2025 is to complete the remaining part of the construction architecture, then check the refrigeration systems, air conditioning systems, air systems and other aviation systems. From there, the fire protection system will be accepted in early April...

The connecting routes to Terminal T3 have completed the construction structure and are continuing to be completed. Terminal T3, Tan Son Nhat International Airport is being built next to the existing terminal. In the distance, planes of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet are parked at the parking lot, waiting to pick up passengers at the domestic terminal, Tan Son Nhat Airport.

The road in front of the entrance hall of Terminal T3 is being paved with asphalt on March 17, while construction units continue to complete many items related to lighting, air conditioning system and fire protection...

Inside the station, construction units are continuing to strive to complete unfinished items before March 31. Organizing the inter-operation of technical systems from March 15, including the electrical system, fire protection system, air conditioning system, baggage conveyor system and passenger bridge system...

The project to build the T3 passenger terminal at Tan Son Nhat airport is invested by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) with a capacity of 20 million passengers/year, including 4 main items: Passenger terminal, high-rise parking garage combined with non-aviation services, overpass system in front of the terminal and aircraft parking lot, with a total investment of nearly 11,000 billion VND. Latest information, the project will officially operate all flights of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet from May 5.

The road systems and telescopic bridges leading to the aircraft parking lot are also being urgently completed. The project is being built and constructed right next to the existing airport in operation.

Workers work in 3 shifts, working through holidays and Tet to put the project into operation soon.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport said it has developed a tentative plan to operate Terminal T3 according to the plan, initially planning to operate domestic flights of two airlines, Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet. The airport will organize a trial operation of Terminal T3 before its inauguration on the occasion of April 30.
